Local kebab shop shortlisted for prestigious award

Hounslow Iraqi and Kurdish restaurant, Chnarok, has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Customer Satisfaction’ award at the annual British Kebab awards.

The British Kebab Awards is organised by the Centre for Turkish Studies and the awards ceremony will be taking place at the end of March at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel in central London.

Local MP, Ruth Cadbury, recently visited the restaurant to see what all the fuss was about and said ‘I can certainly see why they have been nominated. The Kofta kebab was melt-in-the-mouth delicious, the accompanying salad was fresh and the bread straight from the oven. The smells and taste took me straight to the shores of the Mediterranean. It is well worth a visit!’

The restaurant is located at 2B Hanworth Road, Hounslow TW3 1UA – just where Hanworth Road meets Hounslow Highstreet. You can book a table in advance by visiting their website. http://www.chnarokrestaurant.co.uk/index.html
