On Sunday 8th November Ruth Cadbury MP attended a socially distanced service outside Holy Trinity Hounslow where she laid a remembrance wreath. The service was led by Reverend Stu Wright and the Hounslow Royal British Legion.

Speaking after the ceremony Ruth said,

‘‘I know that remembrance Sunday was very different this year and I also know that it must have been particularly difficult for all those veterans who were unable to attend a service as usual.

However, I was honoured to be able to attend and lay in wreath in memory of all those who have died for our country. My thoughts throughout this time remain with those who lost family members throughout both world wars and other conflicts across the globe.

This year we should also remember the impact that the coronavirus and the lockdown has had on veterans and their families both here in the UK and across the world.’’
